food stamps

Food stamps helps my family during difficult times. I use them to go shopping for my family of 8. It’s that time of the month to go shopping. If you aren’t familiar with my story, I do food stamp hauls on my youtube channel to help other families maximize their food stamps. I also do cooking videos to help stretch your meals if you get a limited amount. I try to find alternative resources to help families feed their families and get the funds to pay their bills. This post will also give you insight on the truth about Welfare.

This haul is from November and I will be posting another food stamp haul for the month of Dec as it is the holiday. Be sure to subscribe to my youtube channel to stay up to date on the variety of videos that may help you.

Due to being pregnant, it has been hard for me to cook meals like I typically do. I was dealing with meat aversions along with pelvic pain and at risk for a shorten cervix that put my on modifed bed rest. For this, the food stamp haul isn’t a typical haul that I do.

Rarely do my family of 8 eat out, I try to make 4-5 meals a week and we eat leftovers for the other days. However, because of my meat aversions, I have been using my food stamps to get items that my kids can make for themselves. I have 2 teenage girls who can cook basic things like pancakes, eggs, bacon, grill cheese, hamburger helper, rice, and beans.

Filling Pantry with Food Stamps

Instead of filling up the pantry is filled with food, we have plenty and this is strictly for the kids. Next, the goal is to stock up on meat since now the meat aversion has passed. I can use my food stamps to get good deals on variety of protein. This haul will last us a week or two and then I will have to return to the store to get more things like milk, eggs, and bread.

If you would like, you can watch the full video on the this grocery haul.
