Easy Gluten-Free Flourless Black Bean Brownies Recipe
I’ve been dying to try out these flourless black bean brownies I found. I was originally on the hunt for frugal or cheap meals that I could use on our food stamp budget. The more I invest in my business, youtube, and my blog. The more money I make and that means the fewer food stamps I receive. Anything that will satisfy our cravings, but is affordable enough to get through the week is exactly what I need. The only thing I will probably do differently next time is to add more baking soda and be sure to make multiple batches for my wild kids who can enjoy this guilt-free snack.
Sadly, I didn’t grab the source and only wrote down the ingredients and instructions to create it. But I found it on Pinterest so definitely check the site out for different recipe ideas. I’m not even a chocolate person and boy were these delicious. After much thought, the kids were describing the texture and NOT the actual taste. You wouldn’t know this was made with black beans unless someone told you.
Easy Gluten-Free Flourless Black Bean Brownies
2 cups of black beans (Pressure cook your own) / 1 15oz Can Drained & Rinsed
3 large eggs
3 Tbsp flavorless oil, like canola or sunflower
1 tsp vanilla
¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
⅔ cup sugar
1 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Blend black beans, eggs, oil, and vanilla.
Combine cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, salt, and coffee (if using). Add the dry ingredients to the wets, then stir in chocolate chips.
Grease your pan with PAM. Pour in batter and bake for 30 to 40 minutes, or until the edges are visibly cooked and the center doesn’t jiggle much when you shake the pan. Allow brownies to cool before cutting.
